The East Fork Lewis Mitigation Bank is expected to generate 91 wetlands mitigation credits. Each credit represents a 1.2 acre offset for unavoidable impacts to wetlands in the mitigation bank’s service area. The wetland will filter drinking water, hold flood waters, recharge underground water tables, provide fish and wildlife habitat and support wildlife-related recreation.
